Day 1 – Arrive in New Orleans in time to play The Golf Course at Audubon Park. New Orleans is truly an epicurean delight and home to more than 1,300 restaurants. French cuisine blended with local cooking styles to creates the distinctive Creole and Cajun dishes that are original to New Orleans. Be sure to get a cup of gumbo at each restaurant. Dine at any number of great spots and stay in a historic hotel in the French Quarter or a convenient hotel along Canal Street for two nights.
Day 2 – Enjoy breakfast in the French Quarter, then load up your golfers for the drive across Lake Pontchartrain to play David Toms’ signature design Carter Plantation Championship Course. Spend the afternoon back in New Orleans exploring the oldest and most visited neighborhood in New Orleans, the French Quarter, then enjoy the evening on a dinner cruise and savor the romance of New Orleans.
Day 3 – Play a morning round at Pete Dye’s masterpiece, TPC Louisiana. After golf head down the bayou to Morgan City and tempt your taste buds with some great Cajun favorites at any of the area’s seafood restaurants. Stay overnight. During your travel through the Louisiana bayous you may want to schedule a swamp tour and experience up close where the gators are waiting.
Day 4 – Play 18 holes in the heart of the Atchafalaya Basin, The Atchafalaya at Idlewild in Patterson. After play depart for home. Let’s Go!
