Tamahka Trails at Paragon
Member Louisiana Golf Trail. Tamahka (Alligator) Trails was appropriately named not only for the indigenous creature often seen at the golf course, but also for its untamed and treacherous nature. Like the animal, the golf course offering 5 sets of tees (ranging from 7,130 yards to 4,251), so bit off as much as you want, but wayward shots can quickly fall prey to one of the many dangers incorporated into this entertaining yet deceptive layout. Tamahka Trails Golf Club, designed by award-winning architect, Steve Smyers, meanders through a beautiful 230 acre tract of rolling terrain, which is very unique to central and south Louisiana. The golf course features winding creeks, majestic century-old trees along with native wildlife providing a sense of seclusion and harmony with nature.
