An 18-hole layout in Mobile originally designed by Harold Stallings in 1954, Heron Lakes was expanded in 2000 when Earl Stone added four challenging holes surrounded by six lakes. All 18 greens were rebuilt in Champion Bermuda in 2004, and five sets of tees stretching to about 6,800 yards reward accuracy off the tee and on approach.
