Steeped in a rich country club tradition are two legendary 18-hole championship golf courses in Aventura. Originally designed by renowned golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr., both the Soffer and Miller have been re-imagined by famous golf icon Raymond Floyd, and have played host to numerous South Florida PGA and LPGA championships.
Shorter than the Soffer Course, this shot-maker's layout requires solid drives and pinpoint irons. Rolling fairways framed by mature ficus, banyan and olive trees put a premium on accuracy at every hole. Try not to be distracted by the pink flamingos nesting on Lake Julius – named for Julius Boros, US Open Champion and the first Director of Golf. The Miller Course is a strategic gem.
